MORTON'S CABIN FEVER CR PORTER
Origins
Morton Mortonson was one of the most vigorous individuals to ever settle in our area. The cabin of Swedish-type construction that he built in 1654 still stands today and is regarded as one of the oldest log cabins in the country.
Cabin Fever, Chocolate Raspberry (CR) Porter is crafted with the finest baker's chocolate and juicy raspberries. This deliciously balanced brew offers a unique combination of rich, chocolatey notes and a tangy, tart sweetness. With its light body and refreshing finish, it's the ideal companion for any cozy night in or outdoor festivities.
Food Pairings
Although our mouth-watering Morton’s Cabin Fever CR Porter is more of a dessert, these specialty porters go well with red meats, especially steak. You guessed it—this is where the name “Porter House” steak originates. It is also perfectly paired with chocolate desserts, such as cheese cake doused in raspberry sauce, or as a dessert itself.
Suggested Foods: Grilled Meats (Steak) or Smoked Food (Sausage)
Cheese: Gruyère Cheese
Dessert: Cheesecake or Chocolate-Covered Strawberries, cherries or raspberries
