South Jersey was once known for producing so much wheat that in the 1700’s it was given the nickname “The Breadbasket.” While most of it was exported to Europe, including Germany, our Breadbasket wheat beer is our tribute to the traditional wheat-based weissbiers of old Bavaria. Top-fermented and incorporating a significant amount of malted wheat, this beer’s refreshing crispness is equaled by its light body and an aroma that mimics banana and clove flavors.

  • Our Breadbasket wheat beer is a perfect selection for those seeking a lighter option that remains full of flavor.  The light wheat malt pairs extremely well with white meat dishes – especially chicken. Its delicate nature also provides a sweet contrast to the spicy and savory sauces of many Asian dishes, such as Pad Thai.
