Swedesboro’s own Ted Laux loved football. At Collingswood High, he was the local, all-conference hero. Laux later played for the Steagles – a team that was a temporary merger between the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers, due to player shortages brought on by World War II. Our tribute to the cold-weathered homeboy is a cool-fermented Pale Lager like no other.
Flying Steagle of SBC has little in the way of hop and malt character, which imparts a truly exceptional clean and crisp flavor.
Significantly crisper and more delicate than an IPA, our Flying Steagle goes exceptionally well with lighter seafood, including shellfish, as well as with grilled chicken and pork, lighter pasta dishes, as well as with spicy Indian, Asian, Latin and Mexican dishes.
