MORTON'S CABIN FEVER CPB PORTER
Morton Mortonson was one of the most vigorous individuals to ever settle in our area. The cabin of Swedish-type construction that he built in 1654 still stands today and is regarded as one of the oldest log cabins in the country.
Cabin Fever, Chocolate Peanut Butter (CPB) Porter features a deep brown color with distinctive chocolate hues and a signature creamy head with the roasted taste characteristic of a Porter. Cabin Fever, CPB is a smooth Porter that includes baker’s chocolate to accentuate the bold taste of natural peanut butter. The body is light, with a slight sweetness. At 7% ABC, you can enjoy these magical flavors and a buzz in just a couple of pints.
Although our mouth-watering Morton’s Cabin Fever CPB Porter is more of a dessert, it is best matched along with any red meat, especially steak. You guessed it—this is where the name “Porter House” steak originates. To accent, the silkiness texture of our porter, try pairing it with a smooth-melting cheese like Gruyère. It is also perfectly paired with chocolate desserts, such as chocolate peanut butter cookies, or as a dessert itself.
