Origins
Our Third State Oktoberfest Märzen is brewed in the proud German tradition that inspired centuries of harvest celebrations. Historically crafted in March (“Märzen”) and lagered through the summer, this style was unveiled in autumn to toast the season of abundance. While modern brewing techniques allow us to work more efficiently, we honor the roots of the style by beginning each batch in July, giving it ample time to develop the rich, layered malt character that defines a true Märzen.
The result is a beer that is deeply amber in color, smooth and malt-forward, with toasty bread-crust notes and a clean finish — everything you’ve grown to love in a classic Oktoberfest lager, brewed with our own meticulous touch.
